These turbines are General Electric Haliade-X models, each with<br \/>a production capacity of 13 megawatts. The electricity harnessed by these turbines will<br \/>be gathered at a sea-based substation before it is transferred to shore. Once<br \/>operational, Vineyard Wind 1 will generate 800 megawatts of electricity, enough to power<br \/>over 400,000 households and businesses with clean power.
