Taking into consideration the lag time of the aircraft turning, the pilot must be able to see or \u201cacquire\u201d visibility of the light at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/regulations_policies\/advisory_circulars\/index.cfm\/go\/document.current\/documentNumber\/70_7460-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1.9 km away from the obstacle if they are to avoid the obstacle by 2000\u2019<\/a>.<\/p><p>The necessary distance determined by the FAA and TC in regard to the worse case scenario is unavoidable: the lights must be at 2000 cd for the pilot to see at 1 sm of visibility.<\/p><p>Right now, at every wind farm, the lights are always at full intensity at dusk regardless of the visibility conditions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e96e324 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"e96e324\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*!
